The Cotswold's

I'm back from my night away in the Cotswold's...

I booked this earlier in the year when Travelodge had its £10 a night sale.We set off yesterday morning and headed straight for Bourton on the Water

a lovely little village with a stream running through it.The weather went from chilly to warm but it was dry yesterday. We wondered in and out of all the gift shops stopped and had a cream tea.Picked up a couple of things for my daughters 18th and 21st birthdays which are later this year. Its a lovely village and well worth a visit.
We left Bourton mid afternoon and drove to the Travelodge we were staying in,in Burford.
It was basic but clean and tidy and had everything we needed.(i took some pictures for you newgirly)

We walked into Burford

another lovely village looking for somewhere to eat but it was all a bit pricey so we browsed the gift shops and went back to pick the car up.We then drove to Witney

where we could get a meal and a drink for just over a fiver.

This morning after breakfast we headed for Stow on The Wold,it was pouring with rain and very cold so we didn't stop that long.

We had a lovely couple of days away and i would highly recommend taking advantage of Travelodge sales.

Now to catch up on what you have all done over the bank holiday.
