May Day

Today i spent an hour and a half queueing in traffic to do a 25 minute journey

.Lots of problems in my area with flooding and that was the cause today the road was completely flooded only passable with caution and by driving in the middle of the road.
You wouldn't believe that how it is now outside is the same way it started.

Little ones were over this evening, mum didn't even come to the door she sent the girls in on there own.I know she was probably worried i would say something to her.

DS is threating so much over the girls going he was awake from 3 am.Hes hoping that she will meet him half way with the girls,by halfway i mean journey then he will be able to bring them home. This would be Manchester 3 and half hours journey for us and 3 hour 20 for her.If she agrees this would be amazing ,it would mean my son and us could see them on a regular basis in our normal surroundings..

Well back to nicer things the girls ...we have had another lovely evening playing in the garden.

Lets hope we get the opportunity to do it lots more.

Until later

  1. I know the feeling, my journey had at least an hour added to it due to the horrid weather. We can but hope that the sun will grace us with its presence soon!

I do hope all turns out well for your son and his girls.

    X x

  2. I hope it all works out for your son and his girls, such a worrying time for you all.

Flooded roads here today to, but driving slowly means it can be passed by.

    Sue xx

  3. Good luck to your son and grands, hope Mom knows how important having their Dad in their life is

  4. That would be great if you could meet halfway, fingers crossed she agrees.x
