Legoland

It was a miserable start to Maddies birthday, grey skies and rain but tickets had been prebooked so we were still going.Picnic packed.
Little one loved her day,it was very busy but she went on lots of rides and was thoroughly exhausted at the end of the day.Not helped by a nearly 2 hour Que just to get out of the carpark.
Heres our day in pictures. The girls will be picked up from my son in the morning for the journey to Scotland, which coincides with the anniversary of my mum passing.DS is not talking to me,i tried making conversation with him but he blanked me,its all very upsetting.
Until later

  1. Oh honey I'm thinking about you at this awful time and hope that you are not feeling too down about it all. I'm sure your son will come round eventually but its hard to cope with when you have them going away to deal with as well. Perhaps you could write him a note and tell him that whatever he thinks you've done to upset him really was not intentional and when he's ready to talk you are there for him. Tell him that you totally understand how difficult things are for him at the moment and all you want to do is be a mum to him x
It's so difficult to get inside their heads at times but I'm sure it'll right itself in the end.
Glad DGD had a good day.

    Talk soon

    Love Granny x

  2. Looks like you all had a great time even if the weather was a tad wet. A great memory to keep you going over what will no doubt be a really hard week.

Thinking of you all today and how sad you must all feel.

    Hugs

  4. Even though the weather wasn't great it still looks like you had a good time, I'm so sorry the hear that times are tough now. For what its worth, I agree with Granny, a letter could be the ice breaker, I hope you see the girls soon, that the parting isn't too painful and that you and DS get talking again, hugs, Helen

  5. I wish I could say something to make you feel a bit better, I think granny is right too, but maybe leave it a little while so he's not still in shock, thinking of you x
