Birthday break away

We were so lucky with the weather,it stayed dry during the day and rained whilst we slept.

We had a fantastic time away but 2 nights wasn't long enough we all wanted more.The girls had a whale of a time and daddy loved spending such quality time with his girls it was written all over his face how happy he was.

Below are a few of my pictures,The Butlins Wave hotel is amazing we had a reef apartment (well 2 apartments) and you could have lived in it ,it was so well equipped.
We danced we watched shows,The children ( and grown ups) went on all the free rides as many times as they wanted.
Four generations of us went ranging from 4 years old to 80 and everyone loved it .
DD was 18 on Tuesday cant believe my baby has grown up she thoroughly enjoyed her birthday .

We are going to Butlins

As i said earlier we are going away for my daughters 18th a house sitter has been arranged to look after the chickens.Granddaughters are being picked up today and we set off in the morning for 2 nights away.

You wouldn't believe how much Butlins has changed over the last few years ,Bognor Regis resort now has 3 hotels and we are staying in the newly opened Wave Hotel in an apartment,So be prepared for lots of photos next week.

Just wanted to say hello to my new follower(waving from sofa)

Well apart from my husband be a complete t*t which seems to happen monthly everything is going along as normal.

Yesterday we had our fire installed and it looks fantastic,they were clean and very tidy and i cant wait for it to be ready to burn.OH now has to do a job for him to repay him for doing the work.

Tomorrow we are all going away for a few days to celebrate my DD's 18th, So today will be spent getting organised.Present to wrap,Cake to pick up and so on and so on.

DD's ex sent us both flowers yesterday lovely but not really sure why as its 2 months nearly ago they finished.

Well its Thursday

and i still have a hole in my wall

They never came.OH will have to chase them.

I'm fine there have been a few dramas in my life ,eldest daughter (rightly so) was very upset when she found out we were going away for her sisters birthday.DS is taking his daughters so as he doesn't speak to his sister she was unable to go.I would loved her to go and as normal I'm stuck in the middle.

Debt busting is going well.only £184 left to pay to the inland revenue and £351 for the car.Only  1 more to pay after that.

Thursday should be the day

that our fire is installed.

we have spent weeks no months trying to arrange for our fire to be put in,
We had to have the gas fire removed,once removed OH had to chop away the opening to expose the pipes behind.Saturday the gas engineer (friend of OH) came around to remove the pipes.He decided that it would be easier to swap a days work with OH and come around and  install it properly.
So at the moment its penciled in for Thursday.I'm so excited never thought it would actually go in and i would be left with the hole forever.

So please keep your fingers crossed and if it does go in i will show you the after pictures.

Tuesday evening i made my normal 10pm journey to pick DD up from work.As we were very close to home i felt something was wrong with the car.i limped the final bit home to find rear tyre completely flat.
Out came the compressor and i pumped it up but i could hear the air escaping.Next morning completely flat again so i got my handbook out as the car doesn't have a spare it has this stuff you have to inject into the tyre .Well reading up on it it wasn't going to work so OH said he would take wheel off and take it to get a new one.This is where next problem arose.Wheel nuts are all put on with a machine now and he couldn't budge them.So we now had to resort to plan 3 call the AA out.He was such a nice young man and i will contact the AA to say as much. He took tyre off and even drove OH to get tyre and then came back to put it on.
So day wasn't completely ruined .

Today DD has an appointment at Orthotics to pick up the insoles that have been made for her.We will then have to go and buy her a proper pair of shoes for them to fit into.

Lots of cleaning to be done this morning as we have guests staying this weekend .
HBS with answer to a previous question, shopping went well i wasn't greedy but the spare bedroom is going to look very strange to daughters friend staying in there this weekend.I f they fancy a midnight snack they wont have to go far as long as they like cereal bars lol.
